Bhubaneswar: Sending a stern warning to several outfits, Commissionerate Police on Tuesday decided to act tough on such 'moral policing' on the occasion of Valentine's Day to be celebrated by youngsters in the Twin City of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar tomorrow.

Police Commissioner YB Khurania stated that, "Whosoever takes law into hands will be taken to task."

Khurania's assurance certainly is likely to provide some respite to love birds who are keen to celebrate the special day of love with much enthusiasm.

Senior police officials informed that several public places including malls, restaurants and parks will be under 'watch'.

Adequate deployments will be made at such places to thwart any untoward incidents.

Meanwhile, youngsters thronged several shops in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar to select a perfect gift for their valentine.

"We are waiting for the day to express our love. We hope that no organisation resort to vandalism in the name of moral policing," said Kartik, a student.
