Cops file charge sheet against Sunil Meher in Kyrgyz woman sex racket

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police today filed a charge sheet against sex racket king pin Sunil Meher and middleman Somesh Panda in a court in connection with running a sex racket in the city while involving a Kyrgyzstan young woman.

The 85-page chargesheet has also mentioned the name of 20 witnesses including the Kyrgyzstan young woman.

Satyabrata Bhoi, Bhubaneswar DCP, said, “We will try further to strengthen the case against the accused.”

In the chargesheet, it is mentioned Sunil Meher brought the Kyrgyz woman, who was on a tourist visa to India, after contacting her through middlemen operating in Delhi and Kolkata. She was brought on a package of Rs 15 lakh for a period of one month, said the police sources, adding this was not a lone case when Meher had brought foreign ladies to Bhubaneswar for sleaze business.

Notably, the Kyrgyz woman was caught red handed with a local youth in an uncompromising position at a flat in an apartment on March 25 in Patia. She had gone to Goa, Bengaluru before coming to Odisha.

Earlier, the Commissionerate Police had filed two chargesheeets against sex king pin Sunil Meher.
