Cops bust sex racket in Bhubaneswar run by UP woman

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police on Friday busted a sex racket in Bhubaneswar that was being operated by a woman from Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, the 35-year-old woman used to run a brothel at Metro Satellite City under Balianta police limits on the outskirts of the Smart city.

A youth was detained by a special team of Balianta police station during the raid on the brothel today. However, another person managed to escape from the spot.

A case under section 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act has been registered and further investigation in connection with the incident is on.

Recently, Commissionerate police had busted a high-profile prostitution racket in Bhubaneswar involving Thai women.
