Rourkela: The construction of the second bridge over river Brahmani here will begin soon. This was announced by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) CGM Dharmananda Sarangi here today.

At a Press meet, Sarangi said the construction work of the bridge has been delayed for various reasons. However, the tender process for construction of the bridge has been completed while the work would begin in next one month. The NHAI CGM further said the NH-143 would be concretised in line with the Mumbai-Pune Highway.

Among others, MP Jual Oram and BJP MLA Dilip Ray were present at the Press meet. Notably, MLA Ray was angry over delay in construction of the bridge over the Brahmani river.
