Congress to protest against demonetisation today

Bhubaneswar: Protesting against the failure to lift the weekly cash withdrawal limit of Rs. 24,000 even after two and half months have passed since demonetisation, Congress will stage a protest in front of regional office of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in the capital city on Wednesday.

Senior party leaders like former Union Minister and senior leader Shivraj Patil, Pradip Bhatacharya and Subhankar Sarkar will join the protest.

Alleging farmers and common people are suffering the most due to demonetisation, Congress will hold the protest today.

Earlier, Congress had staged demonstration protesting Central government’s move of demonetisation.
