Congress stages stir over Dhenkanal gang rape, murder

Bhubaneswar: Protesting the gang rape and murder of a woman in Kankadahada of Dhenkanal district, the Congress staged demonstration in all district headquarters today.

Shouting slogans, activists of the Pradesh Mahila Congress and Pradesh Congress ST & SC Cell staged demonstration in front of all district Collector offices.

The Cuttack Mahila Congress took out a protest rally and held a protest meeting demanding strong action against the culprits.

Besides, a candle rally will be taken out by party activists in Master Canteen here. The activists warned that they would intensify their agitation in coming days if their demand is not met at the earliest.
