Congress Nayagarh district president resigns

Nayagarh: Congress district president Lala Manoj Kumar Ray today resigned from the party and sent his resignation letter to Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Prasad Harichandan.

In his letter, the Congress leader mentioned that he resigned from his post since he was upset with the party’s poor organisational structure and its present activities. He has also resigned from party’s primary membership. However, the PCC president was not available to comment on the matter.

It may be mentioned here that Ray had contested the 2014 the Assembly elections from the Nayagarh constituency on the Congress ticket.
