Bhubaneswar: Congress will hold ‘Jana Akrosha Rally’ across all districts and blocks in Odisha protesting against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move of demonitisation on November 28, said Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan.

Lambasting the demonitisation move at a press meeting at Congress Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, the OPCC president said, “How much corruption, black money have been removed after 15 days of banning high denomination notes?”

“The Rs 8 lakh crore loan taken by industrialists across the country is yet to be recovered by the government. The Narendra Modi government has so far waived Rs 1 lakh crore bad debt for the industrialists but why there is no such waiver for farmers?” Harichandan questioned.
