Complaint filed against litterateur Haraprasad for indecent FB post

Bhawanipatna: A written complaint was registered against litterateur Haraprasad Das by teacher and writer Pallishree Patnaik today for allegedly harassing the latter while chatting on Facebook.

The complainant alleged that Haraprasad developed a friendship with her by appreciating her writing work and then began showing obscene behaviour. Pallishree claimed that such behaviour has hurt her mentally and has demanded investigation into the matter by the police.

"Hara Prasad Das repeatedly talked bad about me in front of media which has adversely affected my social and family life. So, I have registered an FIR with the police today. I will also file a defamation suit against him in the court," said Pallishree Patnaik.

"In her FIR, Pallishree has mentioned that Das used indecent messages while chatting with her on Facebook," said Bhawanipatna Town PS IIC SN Sathpathy.

Earlier, Das had refuted the allegations of harassment through Facebook chat brought by the teacher saying that he has been inactive on his Facebook profile since long and could have been a hacker’s job.
