Bhubaneswar: Cold wave continues to grip Odisha with 13 places in the State recording temperature below 10 degree Celsius today. Daringbadi in Kandhamal district was the coldest place in the State at three degree Celsius.

The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the condition is likely to continue for few more days.

The minimum temperature recorded at Phulbani was 4.5 degree Celsius, Sundergarh recorded 7 degree Celsius, while Jharsuguda and Bhawanipatna recorded 7.8 degree Celsius and 8 degree Celsius respectively.

Temperature at Hirakud and Keonjhar was recorded to be 8.2 degree Celsius. Similarly, temperature at Angul and Sambalpur was 8.5 degree Celsius. Temperature at Baripada was recorded 9.4 degree Celsius, Bolangir 9.6 degree Celsius and in Koraput and Sonepur it was 9.5 degree Celsius.

The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded temperatures of 12 and 13 degrees respectively.
