Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would visit Kandhamal district today to inaugurate a slew of projects.

After reaching Phulbani, Patnaik would visit Daringbadi and Baliguda to lay foundation stones and inaugurate various developmental projects.

In view of his visit, security arrangements have been tightened in the district. A total of 23 platoons of police forces- nine platoon police forces at Phulbani, six at Daringbadi and eight at Baliguda- have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, the Daringbadi police arrested four Congress workers prior to the CM's visit to the district.

Notably, eggs were hurled at Patnaik during his visit to Mayurbhanj district to inaugurate various developmental projects on October 26.
