New Delhi: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik called on Prime Minster Narendra Modi at the latter’s residence near the Lok Kalayan Marg in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The meeting continued for 20 minutes, but the Chief Minister did not reveal much detail about the discussion.

Patnaik termed the meeting a courtesy call. “It was a courtesy call. I gave the Prime Minister the recently published book on Biju Babu. We had a discussion on Biju Babu for a little while,” he told mediapersons after the meeting.

When asked if they had any talk on Polavaram issue, Patnaik denied of having any such discussion.

In view of political slugfest between BJP and BJD, the meeting of Patnaik with Modi has left many guessing.

Patnaik, who is in New Delhi on a four-day visit, met the Prime Minister at around 6.30 pm on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister will attend a high-level review meeting in New Delhi on the upcoming men’s World Hockey Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Odisha.
