CM Naveen inaugurates Diamond Jubilee celebration of VSSUT, Burla

Sambalpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee celebration of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla of Sambalpur district today. Along with this he laid the foundation stones of Academic Block, Hostel and Amphitheatre of the university.

Similarly, Patnaik also inaugurated E-learning centre. After that he attended the Golden Jubilee celebration of Sambalpur University.

Later in the day Patnaik attended the distribution of assistive aids and appliances for Persons with Disabilities programme at Phd Field in Sambalpur.

Following it he inaugurated the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) at Head Post office of Sambalpur. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Sixteen Congress and BJP activists are detained by Sambalpur police as security measures in view of the visit of the Chief Minister.
