Bhubaneswar: After leaders cutting across party lines launched a scathing attack on CM Naveen Patnaik for toeing the lines of his PS V Karthikeyan Pandian, today, former Koraput MP Jayaram Pangi also came out with similar statements.

Pangi, who joined the BJP after quitting BJD a few months back, stated in his Facebook post, “Since the CM is functioning as per the directions of his PS VK Pandian, the BJD and Patnaik would suffer ultimately.”

Besides, he also wrote, “A conspiracy is being hatched against BJD’s Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda in the third floor.”

He came down heavily on the present Koraput MP Jhina Hikaka  through the same platform stating, “Hikaka is not picking up calls from party activists in grassroots. Therefore, resentment is brewing among members of the party’s youth wing.”

“But, no action is being taken against Hikaka as Pandian does not want so,” Pangi pointed out.

“To survive in BJD, a party member has to resort to flattery,” Pangi alleged.

He further said if someone works hard for the party, he/she faces rebuke.

Earlier, Baijayant Panda, Rama Ranjan Baliarsingh, Baishnab Charan Parida and Nabin Nanda had expressed their displeasure over the way BJD is functioning. They had alleged that suggestions from the CM’s PS have been affecting the BJD adversely on different occasions.
