Close shave for Bikram Arukh

Khurdha: Forest and Environment minister Bikram Keshari Arukh had a close shave when a truck hit the rear side of his car he was travelling in near Daleiput here on Tuesday night.

The vehicle was damaged in the mishap while the minister, his security personnel and driver managed to come out of the vehicle unhurt. The incident occurred when the minister on his way to Berhampur to attend a programme.

The local MLA reached the spot with police and took stock of the situation. Police, meanwhile, have seized the truck and arrested its driver.

Later, the minister returned to Bhubaneswar in another vehicle.
