Class VI student jumps off moving jeep, dies

Gajapati: In an unfortunate incident, a Class VI student died after jumping from a moving jeep near Adaba police limits in Gajapati district here on Tuesday.

According to sources, the incident happened today morning when the kid, a student of Model school in Gundima village, was travelling in a passenger jeep on way to school.

After nearing his junction, the boy asked the driver to stop the vehicle. But as the driver did not listen to him, the student in an attempt to get down, jumped off the moving jeep following which he died on the spot, sources added.
