Class V student found hanging

Rayagada: In an unfortunate incident, a class V student of Parishiti primary school allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the school premises near Ramanaguda last night.

Inmates of the hostel where he stayed found him hanging in his room this morning and informed the school authorities.

Sources said he took his dinner last night and went to bed along with his friends.

Narendra Misal, a resident of Penekama village in this district, was staying in the residential (Ashram school) school run by the State government.

The reason for the death has not yet been ascertained. Police have seized the body and started investigation.
