Bhubaneswar: Following the exit of two leaders – Amar Nayak of Barchana yesterday and former Koraput MP Jayram Pangi today – from BJD, party MP Baijayant Panda once again took to twitter today saying he had warned of such moves by some leaders who are becoming targets of conspiracy within the party, but was criticised for the same.

“One gone yesterday, another today. Yet when I cautioned last week, was contradicted. Now large sections unrepresented, resentment everywhere,” tweeted Baijayant.

Earlier he had said, “Currently, conspiracy is being hatched to oust some leaders from the party, which should not happen.” However, party supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik quickly refuted the comments saying, “I do not think that (Panda’s remark) is at all correct.”

Replying to today’s tweets of Baijayant, party spokesperson Pratap Deb said “I would like to request the MP that before questioning us, could he ask BJP that how could they open the doors for someone against whom they demanded a CBI probe in connection with lady teacher Itishree murder case.”

On Baijayant’s statement on ministry reshuffle stating that resentment within the party has increased due to lack of representation of many regions of the State, Deb said “No chief minister can ensure that a representative from every district is given a ministerial berth as the cabinet strength is 22 including the CM’s post.”
