Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has decided to increase number of Plus II exam centres to 1,110 from 1,007 this year, informed Council's deputy exam controller Prabodh Kumar Panda on Monday.

The decision has been taken keeping in view rise in students' enrollment in Odisha.

The Council also decided to set up another sub-centre in Bhubaneswar, at ITER taking the total number of sub-centres to four. At present the sub-centres are located at KIIT, KISS and Saraswati Gyana Vidya Mandir.

Apart from this, the exam hubs will be at 202 places this year.

The Plus II exam will begin from March 6, 2018 and will conclude on March 29, 2018.

The theory examination for integrated vocational subjects will start from March 21 and end on March 29. The vocational theory examinations will be of two hours each while the timing for vocational practical subjects will be of three hours duration.
