Choudwar Excise SI in Vigilance net

Cuttack: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted raids at houses of Excise sub-inspector of Choudwar Laxman Sarangi on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to sources, the anti-corruption officials raided Sarangi’s houses at Cuttack and Choudwar simultaneously.

Besides, the Vigilance also raided the Sarangi’s relatives’ houses. During the raid, the team laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Sarangi.

Till the last report came in, raids are being carried out at Sarangi’s residence.
