Bhubaneswar: Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, who was in Nuapada today, evaded questions on the ongoing Mahanadi river dispute with Odisha.

Singh was here to attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Gurukul Ashram School in Nuapada. He did not comment on the contentious issue between the two States.

“There is no dispute,” said Singh while evading further questions by media persons at the event.

However attending the event, Singh stated that the Gurukul Ashram has been a centre of learning and has been imparting basic vedic and other religious and spiritual training to the students.

“I am very happy to be here at the Gurukul Ashram on the occasion of its golden jubilee celebration,” said Singh.
