New Delhi: It’s official! The Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be held online this year.

The new test format has been designed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), said a report published on India.com.

Quoting an official of NCTE, the report stated the CTET will be changed from pen-paper mode to online test.

Registration of aspirants for the teachers’ eligibility test will start in September this year, though the CBSE has not issued any notification yet.

Candidates who qualify the CTET can only apply for job vacancies in government schools including Navodaya Schools, Central School and privately-run schools.
