Phulbani: A team of BJP parliamentarians tasked by party president Amit Shah to probe the deaths of five civilians in unprovoked firing by security personnel in Ggumdumaha village, is scheduled to meet the kin of victims and inspect the spot where the mishap occurred.

The team, which reached Baliguda last evening, comprises BJP national vice-president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and general secretaries Ramvichar Netam and Jyoti Dhruve.

After concluding its visit,the team will submit a report to the BJP national president Amit Shah.

Earlier yesterday, the legislature party of Congress led by opposition leader Narsingh Mishra visited the spot to conduct an inspection and collected information about the incident.

A delegation of state BJP leaders led by state unit president Basanta Panda has already visited the area and talked to those injured in the firing at the MKCG hospital in Berhampur.
