Bhubaneswar: Over 1.44 lakh students from Odisha have registered for the CBSE Class X and XII board exams starting from tomorrow across the country.

Official sources said, nearly 77,700 students from the Bhubaneswar region will appear for the Class X exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Similarly, a total of 66,300 students will sit for the Class XII exam.

The CBSE has set up 230 examination centres in the region where students of 927 schools will appear for the exams.

The examination will begin from 10.30 am and continue till 1.30 pm.

Class X examination will continue till April 12 while Class XII will be held till April 4.

A total of 16.38 lakh students have registered across the country to appear for the Class X exam this year while around 11.86 lakh students are scheduled to appear for Class XII examinations. 7,356 differently-abled candidates have also registered for the exams.
