Bhubaneswar: Putting all speculations to rest, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will publish the results of Class 12 board examinations of all regions on Sunday, official sources said.

The students can know their results from board’s official websites, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. It is for the first time that the results are being declared one week late as the Class 12 results were published on May 21 last year.

The board also maintained that it will follow the Delhi HC order on the moderation policy, which was scrapped last month, and continue with it.

As per reports, the board will follow the five-point moderation policy as directed by the high court.

The CBSE class 12 results were earlier expected to come out by May 25 and it was delayed after the Delhi HC asked the board to continue the in-practice marks moderation policy.

A total of 10, 98,891 candidates from 10,678 schools registered for exams, which is a 2.82% point increase from that of 2016.

The exams were conducted from March 9, 2017 to April 29, 2017.

2, 58, 321 students had appeared the Class I2 examination from Delhi region, followed by Panchkula with 1, 84,557 and Ajmer with 1, 31,449 candidates.

 

A total of 2,497 candidates under disabilities also registered for the exam this year, official sources said.
