Bhubaneswar: As the date of admission to plus III courses in Odisha colleges is getting closer, the State government decision to relax the deadline for CBSE class 12 students, whose results have discrepancies and who have applied for re-evaluation through Orissa High Court has come as a relief.

The last date of application has now become June 21 instead of June 20 for 177 students, who have moved the court.

These students can apply off-line at SAMS resource centres by June 21. They will have to attach photocopy of the court petition along with the common application form and submit the final documents within two days of the court verdict.

Meanwhile, the guardians association has decided to meet Union Human Resource Development (HRD) minister Prakash Javadekar and write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apprise them of the grievances of the students.
