Bhubaneswar: Expressing displeasure over absence of officials from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) headquarters before the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR) during a hearing on the recent Class 12 result fiasco, the statutory body today threatened summoning the CBSE Delhi office if no one from the education governing body is present in next hearing tomorrow.

In presence of parents’ association and CBSE regional officials, the State child rights protection commission also said it would apprise the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights on the matter and recommend to handover the findings to the Court.

The State Commission was unhappy over a reply given by the CBSE in response to a show cause notice issued to it.
