Bhubaneswar: The Class X results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have been declared today. Results are out for all the regions with Bhubaneswar registering a pass percentage of 92.15.

While Chennai recorded 99.62 pass percentage, Chandigarh registered 94.34, Guwahati 65.53, Delhi 78.09, Patna 95.50, Allahabad 98.23, Dehradun 97.27 and Ajmer 93.30.

Under the Bhubaneswar region that includes Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal, 73,000 students have appeared for the CBSE Class 10 exams. In Odisha itself, 23,080 students took the exams. In the region, 67,200 students have passed the exam.

The results can be checked on cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. One has to key in the roll number and other required details on the results page and ‘submit’ to get the results. However, minutes before the results were declared, the CBSE site had reportedly crashed.

Students who appeared for the exams across the state have their fingers crossed after the fiasco in Class 12 results in Odisha that have led to protests in the city.

A record number of 138 students out of total 296 students (46.62%) of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur in the city secured 10  Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA). Out of 296 students,  275 had appeared through CBSE Board while 21 others chose School based. As many as 118 students out of 278 secured 10 CGPA last year.
