Initially, the CBI had asked Jayasingh to depose on August 8. However, he had informed the agency that he would appear before it after August 10.

After the questioning, Jayasingh told news men, “I was asked questions about the Artha Tatwa chit fund case. They (CBI) questioned me if any money had come to Team Media and Hospitality. I have given all the information to the agency for further probe.”

When asked whether he was quizzed by the CBI regarding any other chit fund company, Jayasingh replied in the negative.

Jayasingh, who is the director of the Team Media and Hospitality Pvt Ltd, was quizzed on the basis of the information extracted by the CBI during grilling of AT Group chief Pradip Sethy at the Jharpada jail here recently.
