Keonjhar: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths on Tuesday arrested Keonjhar district's Jaroli railway station manager Subash Chandra Bhukta from his office for allegedly accepting bribe from a transport agency.

According to sources, a CBI team of Bhubaneswar conducted a raid and caught the station manager red-handed while he was taking Rs 7000 bribe from a transport agency.

However, the bureau officials have not clarified anything about the company and the reason for which the station manager was taking the bribe.

On the other hand, the CBI seized Rs 4,50000 new notes during a search on the government quarter of the station manager. The CBI also raided Subash's ancestral house and some other places in Visakhapatnam, sources said.
