Bhubaneswar/Lucknow: The registration for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 for admission into top B-schools of the country including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) started today.

MBA aspirants can register online for CAT 2017 till September 20 through credit cards, debit cards and net banking.

They can download their admit card from October 18 till the exam date i.e. November 26.

For any queries on the registration process, the candidates can visit the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section in the CAT website iimcat.ac.in or contact the CAT helpdesk over email or phone.

It may be mentioned that CAT scores are accepted by the 20 IIMs and more than a 100 B-schools across the country.

Candidates will be given the option to pick four test centres out of approximately 140 centres. The test centres will be assigned by order of preference to candidates after end of the registration process. The test will be conducted in two sessions.

More than two lakh candidates are expected to appear for CAT 2017. The duration of the test will be 180 minutes that will be divided into three sections of 60 minutes each.

A tutorial to understand the format of the test will be available on the CAT website from October 18, 2017.
