Casting Couch: Papu seeks a month's time to present his case in HC

Bhubaneswar:  Stand-up comedian and Ollywood actor Tatwa Prakash Satapathy alias Papu Pom Pom has sought one month time to present his case in the Odisha High Court in connection with the much-hyped minor casting couch case.

The actor sought the time period through his advocate today.

It may be mentioned here that Papu Pom Pom was arrested on charges of sexually harassing a minor girl after promising her to give her a break in films. He was arrested from Puri on June 30, 2016 following a complaint lodged at Mahila police station by a Bhubaneswar-based NGO.

However, he was released from jail after the High Court granted him conditional bail on August 10, 2016.

Several attempts to contact the actor proved futile.
