Cash, jewellery robbed in broad daylight in Rourkela

Rourkela: In an armed daylight robbery, Rs 6 lakh in cash and gold jewellery were looted from a house located in Sector-6 of the Steel city on Saturday.

The robbers armed with pistols and knives threatened the residents of the house and decamped with the cash and gold jewellery.

A woman of the house was injured in a knife attack and was admitted to a local hospital.

Raghunathpalli police has started investigation into the case.
