Case registered for obscene Facebook posts on RD varsity girls

Bhubaneswar: A group of girls of Ramadevi Women's University here today lodged a complaint at Saheed Nagar police station alleging abusive comment with their photos posted on social media Facebook.

They alleged the obscene posts have been uploaded though a FB account, Aarohi Creations, which is owned by a person named Sujit Sahoo. Pictures of around 15 girl students have been uploaded with lewd comments and captions on images. They alleged Sujit Sahoo's hand behind the crime.

"We have the information that owner is Sujit Sahoo. We suspect that he has main role as he is the owner of Aarohi Creations", the FIR lodged by the girls read. Some fellow girls might be involved in it, they suspected.

"The motive of the organisation should be investigated. We want to know from the owner Sujit Sahoo why such posts were made? He should be interrogated", said Ankita, a complainant.

It is known from the preliminary investigation that Aarohi Creation does not belong to Saheed Nagar area. "A case has been registered under IT Act. Truth will come out only after investigation," DCP Satyabrat Bhoi said.
