Bhubaneswar: Tarang Cine Productions' 'Abhay' released today in 40 theaters across the State recording a bumper opening. The Anubhav-Elina starrer left fans in awe while most theatres put up the “House Full” boards.

The movie got an overwhelming response from the fans during its grand premiere today at the Brundaban Cinema Hall in Cuttack.

Lead actor Anubhav’s craze swept the theatre as frenzied fans packed the theatre premises to get a glimpse of the star, whose arrival here depicted the character he has played in the movie.

Justifying his role of a common man, the superstar made a grand entry in a rickshaw, to which the moviegoers in the city went crazy and there was hooting, claps and whistles all around.

“I am very excited and happy seeing the fans turn out here in such huge numbers and showing their love for the film. It’s a full package of love, emotion, action and comedy. I am sure Abhay will not disappoint the audience,” said Anubhav.

“The story of the film is about a life-changing twist in a common man’s life. It’s very interesting,” said actor Manoj Mishra, who has portrayed the villain's character.

The movie revolves around a common man’s fight with high-voltage action peppered with drama and romance.

Abhay is directed by K Muralikrishna with Premanand as its music director.
