Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today announced results of the annual Matriculation Examination 2018. This year the overall pass percentage has been 76.23 percent, informed School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra at the board office in Cuttack.

Patra further announced that 1,715 students have scored A1 grade, 15,689 scored A2, 39,252 scored B1 and 68,009 scored B2. A total of 1,24,665 students have scored above 60 percent.

Like last year, this year too, the girls have outshone boys. A total of 2,22,043 girl students cleared the examination as compared to 2,16,305 boys.

While 429 schools have achieved 100% result this year, 36 schools reported nil results, said Patra. In total 5,67,294 candidates from 8,855 schools had filled up the forms of which 5,54,339 appeared the exam, he added.

The minister also informed that a total of 1,247 cases of malpractice were detected this year.

As per reports, Balasore has recorded the highest pass rate of 88.15 per cent while Malkangiri recorded the lowest at 59.32 per cent.

Students can view their scores online by logging in to – www.bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in – from 12 PM onwards. Students can also know their results by dialling the numbers 0671-2412060 and 0671-2412059.

In places where internet facility is not available, students can get their results through SMS by texting ‘OR10<space>roll number’ to 5676750. Similarly, the Board has also made arrangements to upload the OMR answersheets on www.bseodisha.ac.in at 2 PM.

As many as 6, 08,031 students had appeared for the annual examination at 2,818 centres across the state between February 23 and March 8.

  • Click on ‘ANNUAL H.S.C EXAMINATION RESULT - 2018 ( 07-05-2018)’
  • Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth
  • Click ‘submit’ and take a printout of the result for future reference
