Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) which announced the annual HSC examination results on Wednesday said, it’s control room is ready to take phone calls regarding the results of all the 6,05,071 students  who appeared the annual HSC test this year.

BSE officials said, the control room which has been opened inside the BSE office in Cuttack, will function for the next 10 days. The numbers of the control room are 0671-2412059 and 0671-2412060.

“We have already started receiving calls from the students. Mainly the queries are regarding their scores in particular subjects. Sometimes, students want to know details about the rechecking process. Since the rechecking dates for this year have not been finalised, we have asked them to call again,” said a BSE official.

“Besides, we too get calls from teachers, parents and guardians regarding low scores in specific subjects. Since we have a re-evaluation facility, we suggest them to go through the process,” said the official.

If the students find any discrepancy in the marks they have secured in any subject, they can apply for re-addition or rechecking, he noted.

Official sources said, the control room has a team of around 10 people including some specialists and two psychologists to deal with the students’ queries.
