Brown sugar seized from ward member's house

Balasore: Excise officials today seized 20 grams brown sugar from the house of  a ward member at Rajpur village in Jaleswar of Balasore district this morning.

The accused has been identified as Sheikh Ajbahar, a ward member of Rajpur.

Acting on a tip-off, the excise sleuths conducted a raid on the house of the ward member and later seized the narcotic item worth around Rs 2 lakh.
