Puri: In a meeting of the managing committee of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) held today, former chief of SJTA Suresh Mohapatra has been asked to submit a report in 3 weeks in connection with Brahma Paribartan fiasco.

The meeting was chaired by Puri Gajapati Maharaj Dibyasingh Deb.

“The managing Committee has asked former SJTA Chief to submit the report on mismanagement during Brahma Paribartan within three weeks. The content will be reviewed by the committee after the report is submitted,” said SJTA’s current chief Pradeep Jena.

Apart from this, the Committee has also decided to provide Rs 5 lakh to construct a temple at the sacred place from where Lord Sudarshan's Daru (wood) is collected.

Also, the SJTA has decided to provide its 15 decimal land in Delang for the construction of a school, sources said.

Puri SP Sarthak Sarangi, temple servitors and other committee members were also present in the meeting.
