In a letter, Nayak asked the vice chancellors to personally look into the matter and furnish batch-wise report on the aforesaid within a period of two weeks.

Nayak also stated about the non-issuance of corresponding certificates or mark sheets to the concerned students who have passed since 2009-10, as a result of which, he said they are facing a lot of hardship in pursuing higher studies and getting jobs.

This apart, he pointed out in the letter that it speaks very badly of the academic and administrative efficiency of the universities.
