Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a minor boy sustained critical injuries after being allegedly pushed off a moving train by a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) on Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as P. Krishna (15).
According to sources, Krishna boarded Chennai-Howrah Coromandel Express from Cuttack.
But he was found lying on the railway tracks near Padashi in Mancheswar area with deep injuries all over his body. A seriously injured Krishna was rushed to Capital hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.
Seriously injured Krishna said, “I was coming to Cuttack from Vizag by Chennai-Howrah Coromandel Express to meet my relative. A TTE asked me to show the ticket. As I was travelling without ticket, the TTE asked me to give fine. But when I said I have no money for fine he pushed me out of the train.”
RPF inspector has visited Capital hospital and started an investigation into the matter.
