Bombs hurled at BJD leader’s house

Konark: Unidentified miscreants allegedly hurled four bombs at the house and bike showroom of BJD’s Konark Nagar President Gopal Chandra Behera here late last night.

As per reports, his house has been damaged and some bikes at the showroom have been burnt in the incident that occurred at around midnight. Surprisingly, the BJD leader’s house is located only 100 metres away from the Konark police station.

Meanwhile, the Nimapara DSP has reached the spot and begun investigation into the matter. However, preliminary investigation reveals that the bombing is the fallout of past rivalry over tender issues.
