Bomb hurled at Sukinda doctor's residence

Jajpur: Some miscreants hurled a bomb at the residence of a doctor of the Sukinda hospital in Jajpur district on Monday.

The miscreants threw a hand bomb through the window of Dr Rajendra Prusty's house and fled away. However, no casualty was reported in the incident.

People from the surrounding area rushed to the area on hearing the blast but the police immediately cordoned the spot and dispersed the crowd. Investigation is underway to ascertain the motive behind the attack.
