Bomb hurled at groom's vehicle

Bhubaneswar: In a bizarre incident, some unidentified miscreants hurled a bomb at the vehicle of a groom at Banguari village under the Pahala police limits on the city outskirts on Sunday.

Though the vehicle was partially damaged, no one was reportedly injured in the attack. The incident took place when the procession was taken out with the groom sitting in the backside. The procession was halted after the incident.

However, the motive behind the incident is yet to be known. Police said the culprits are not identified yet; however family members of both the groom and bride are being interrogated.
