Body of man found near canal, murder suspected

Titlagarh: Body of a man was found near a canal at Patlapada village of Titlagarh today.

The deceased has been identified as Bahadur Bhoi.

Sources said Bahadur was working as a watchman at the nearby check dam. Bahadur’s family members had lodged a complaint yesterday after he didn’t return home on time.

On getting the information, the police initiated an investigation into the matter.

While investigating they found the body and a cement bag from the spot. The reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.

“I suspect that my father has been murdered by someone. I demand a probe into the matter and immediate arrest of the accused,” said his son Kuber Bhoi.
