Bodies of two women found in Balangir forest

Balangir: The decomposed dead bodies of two women were found inside Harishankar forest, only 500 metre from the Harishankar Peeth, under Khaprakhol police station in Balangir district on Wednesday night.

Officials of the Harishankar police outpost traced the dead bodies in the presence of a Magistrate.

Police said the bodies have been sent for post mortem. They suspect that some miscreants killed the two women and dumped the dead bodies in the forest. Investigation is on into the incident, police said.

The incident has spread panic among the locals.
