BMC prepares draft budget for 2017-18

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has prepared a draft budget for the fiscal year 2017-18.

The budget was read out at a meeting held at the BMC office in the presence of Corporators. The Corporators would give their opinions on the draft budget within two days.

Sources said Rs 384,59,28,923 has been earmarked for the budget. The budget will be approved at Corporation meeting on March 9.

The BMC Mayor and Commissioner and Culture Minister were present at the meeting.
