Bhubaneswar: BJP's Bargarh district president Narayan Sahu on Tuesday stated he has no differences with the State party leadership and expressed his full support to the party's decision on candidature for Bijepur bypoll.

After a meeting at BJP legislature party leader KV Singhdeo's residence here, Sahu said there is no disagreement within the party.

"I have been with BJP and will continue to work for the party," Sahu added.

The BJP Bargarh district president had on Tuesday requested the party leadership to relieve him from the current responsibilities. Sahu had opposed Ashok Panigrahi joining the saffron party.

He was also absent in the event where Panigrahi joined the party giving way to speculations that he has resigned from the party.

Denying the hypothesis, Sahu had said he missed the event as he had gone to visit an ailing relative.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, "In the party everyone is allowed to express his or view. There were some disagreement, but the same was resolved after a discussion."
