Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said the upcoming national executive meet of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), from April 15, would be held based on results of the recently concluded polls and strategies would be chalked out for the 2019 general elections.

Speaking on the sideline of the Misrana Parva held at the party headquarters on Sunday, Pradhan said people have lost confidence in the ruling government and at grassroots level they have already accepted Narendra Modi as their leader.

BJD party workers have also started shunning the party, added Pradhan.

Meanwhile, BJD spokesperson Pratap Dev hits back at Pradhan and said,

“We are ready with our strategy for 2019 and accept the challenge of BJP.”

Earlier in the day, at the Misrana Parva, popular Ollywood comedian Harihar Mohapatra, former Angul district president of Congress Pratap Pradhan and several other leaders from Nayagarh and Nuapada districts joined the saffron party.
