Angul: Senior leaders and office bearers of the Odisha BJP today met in Angul to finalise the party’s strategy for the upcoming bypoll for the Bijepur constituency.
Sources informed that in presence of the two Union ministers, Dharmendra Pradhan & Jual Oram, the party has prepared a blueprint to take on the ruling-BJD and review the organisational status of its own in Bijepur.
Moreover, the party has reportedly zeroed in on a candidate to be fielded in the constituency.

Party president Basant Panda said that anti-incumbency wave will help BJP win the Bijepur bypoll.
“The manner in which the ruling-BJD is denying farmer suicides on account of crop loss, there is a lot of discontent among the people which will help BJP to win the Bijepur seat,” said Panda.
In reply, BJD spokesperson, Prasanta Nanda said “No matter when the bypoll takes place, the BJD will defeat BJP in Bijepur and declare it as Bijaypur.”
